Ineffective mold release, or release agent does not withstand elevated temperatures • Use suitable mold release agent that is effective for resin and temperature used; apply according to supplier's instructions. Interference during part removal • • Relocate mold parting line undercut, or taper side walls of mold. Roughness and porosity of mold surface provide areas where resin may adhere Refinish damaged mold surfaces (plug weld smooth).
