From the figure, the hardness of cross linked HDPE showed at 150 kGy achieved the highest value and decreasing when being radiated with 200 kGy. Figure 11. Hardness 3.2. Characterization of HDPE/EVA blends 3.2.1. Gel Content. From the graph shown, the degree of crosslinking was increased with increasing of irradiation dose. From 0% of gel content degree, it is increased up to 42% when being irradiated with electron beam with dose of 50, 100, 150 and 200kGy respectively.
